Trang An Valley

Trang An is a maze of limestone karsts rising straight out of still green water, and the only way through is by boat, drifting between cliffs that have stood for millions of years. Every cave you came out of opens onto another hidden valley. I shot this low on the water as the light softened, the peaks doubling in their own reflection until it was hard to tell where stone ended and river began. I named it Trang An Valley after the place itself, somewhere that makes you feel like a visitor in a far older, slower world.
