Hey, I'm Danny.

I was sixteen when I got my hands on my first camera. Back then, it was just a hobby, but it quickly became a bit of an obsession. I found myself less interested in "pretty" pictures and more engrossed in how a single image could actually shift someone's mood.

Over the last twelve years, that hasn't changed. I’ve realised that the photos I’m most proud of are the ones that play with dualities. I love the tension you find when you put something grand next to something incredibly subtle, or when you find a complex story hidden in a simple frame.

Whether I’m out in the middle of nowhere or sitting across from a person in a studio, I’m looking for that same thing: the friction between nature and humanity, or the light and the dark. I don't want to just document what's in front of me; I want to create a feeling or a story in the viewer that is looking at my work and let it linger in the room.  For me, it’s always been about that emotional hook; the part of the photo that makes you stop scrolling and actually look.
